Minnows: a word under threat!

By John Cheeran
By the time the group matches in the World Cup finish, one word will be murdered and buried--minnows.
During the group stage no copy can be written without reference to the minnows.
The unofficial list of minnows include Bermuda, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Scotland, Kenya, Netherlands, Canada and Ireland.
There are guides to minnows available and some like Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid has said that minnows add charm to the World Cup.
May be. May be not.
But I request the cricket writers and agency reporters out there in the West Indies to search for words that can replace an already bleeding minnows.
